short and bushy

hey people!! im new to this forum. i have some short lil bushy plants with real fat fan leaves. i was woundering if when i start flowering. would it be okay for the plant if i trimm some of those fat leaves away? so i can get good light to all the bud sites ?????

Trimming for even light distribution is a common tactic used around here. Keep it to a minimum though. Using training techniques like LST would also help you even out your canopy

yes u want to trim the leaves infront of the buds, or just tie the plant so that particular branch is moved.u dont wanna trim to many leaves tho.if u have fat leaves then your plant is mostly indica.

Also, try to tuck the leaves before you remote to trimming. Tucking is a much better idea.
 
nice they are about 10 inces tall i think im gonna flower this weekend and trimm as needed. also wont the plants keep vegging for a week or to after switching to 12/12 cycle???

There is a transitional period where your plants slow down root growth and begin to focus on promoting flowers.
 
cool man i cant even count the bud sites on these plants theres so many. so i figure its getting to that point where i can flower and get a nice yield. even tho they are so short.
