Noon pics. and height update.

Snowryder #1 is 7 1/2"
Snowryder #2 is 7"
Snowryder #3 is 17"
Snowryder #4 is 8"

The Snowryders grew a bit overnight (well night for me), I raised the light a bit and they also had good bud growth as well.

Mr. Snowryder has stretched alot since being isolated and not recieving 24/0 of light and just gets sunlight from within the house.

The White Sharks are doing great. #1 has shown no more signs of major deficiencies since the transplant and is going to produce the bigger of the buds, since it has fewer branches and more light reception.

White Shark #2 is doing wonderful, more tops than I would like to count. The buds are coming on nicely though. I still do not see any frost yet.

The Tops of the 2 Sharks are about 16" - 17" tall now, the supercropping I did a few days back has helped and also has given plenty more of light space to the lower and smaller buds. The bends from the supercropping are awelling and bulking up, hope the buds follow and do the same.

Things are looking great this morning just got done mixing a batch of tea and it is brewing now for all the ladies. They will be fed this on Monday.

1/4 cup wormcastings, 1/4 cup alaskan humus, 1/3 cup 0-5-0 bat guano, 1/3 cup alfalfa meal, 1.5 Tbl. of molasses, 1.5tsp. of Maxicrop soluble seaweed. This is being brewed in 1.5 gallons of non pH'd water. The tea will be cut with 1.5 gallons of water pH'd to 6.5 with Apple Cider Vinegar on monday, and then fed to the girls.

I will take photo's later today before and after I chop down Mr. Snowryder. Yeah, today will be his last day, I'll collect his pollen and feed him to the worms.

Hope everyone is having a good morning and still following along.:eyesmoke:

Wow, your plants are just consistently healthy and lovely! And I can't get over those White Sharks, they take great glamour shots - everything about them, those thick, sturdy stems, lovely branching, lush foliage and bud action, great all the way down to those exposed roots (This might sound weird, but I'm a huge fan of healthy root systems, exposed roots, etc.; the roots are key!).

Your teas are genius, too, and clearly they get the job done. :weed:

Edit: And so long to Mr. Snowryder! His legacy will be carried on. ^_^

Thanks again for the compliments, I sure try.

I, too, am a big fan of healthy roots, and yes the exposed rooots was planned during my last transplant. I do believe that this does help in a way, maybe giving a path for air and water to trickle down those exposed roots. Every now and then I may apply a bit of wormcastings on those roots before watering, and let the watering slowely erode the casrings into the surrounding soil.

The Biggest plants that I have ever scene outside, had exposed roots and a stalk that needed to be cut with a chainsaw.

Bad news, White Shark #1 had some male flowers growing on the lowest, smallest buds. I guess I have to keep a close eye on her now, I stripped and peeled off all the branches and buds that were infected and discarded them. I'm sure that some of the White Shark, got pollenated as well, some of the male pods were shedding.

At this point and time, I will log this as a stress induced hermaphrodite.

What stress??
Late transplant into the 6.5 gallon pots on day 13 of flowering. The hermed flowers were all on the lowest and smallest growth of the branches. This is where I had not yet lollipopped, and when I was stripping the tiny growth yesterday I noticed them. I also noticed that all the herm'd flowers were also below my supercropped bending points, so this may as well have contributed to the stress that led to the hermie flowers.

Don't know for certain, but this is what I will note and assume at this time. Maybe later on in different grows, I may find out that the White Sharks seeds themselves have the hermie trait. Until then, I will keep noting things, and also keep my eye out for the male flowers on both Sharks until harvest.

All seeds from White Shark #1 that may be produced from this grow will be trashed, due to self pollination.
The seeds from White Shark #2 may have been pollenated from Whitew Shark #1 as well as Mr. Snowryder, so when I grow those seeds, I will only look for the Autoflowering trait, since this is the whole idea behind my project and cull-out any non-auto's from the seed batch.
The Auto's that derive from those seeds will then be back-crossed to Mr. Snowryders preserved pollen.

Day 34 for Snowryder #1
Day 35 for Snowryders #2, #4

They are doing perfect. Zero signs of any deficiencies. The buds are forming nicely:lol:.

They got fed some tea today, I sure hope it wasn't too overpowering for them.

I may go with one more tea feeding next week and discontinue and just feed water from there on out. I do have some of Sub's supersoil in there and hope that should be enough to finish them out.

The White Sharks are on day 80 (Day 23 of Bloom).

They both recieved about 1 gallon each of the tea. with a little bit of run-off in the tray. They may as well get just one last tea next week and let the supersoil take over from there and finish them out. I also hope that the tea today was not too much for them.

I pinched off a few more hermie flowers on #1:finger:, still finding them on the lowest branches before the supercropping bends.

I did also notice some seeds forming where I had pollenated the flowers with Mr. Snowryder on White Shark #2.:lol::lol:

Here's some pics. of today:eyesmoke:

Everything looks awesome, I was considering pollinating some of my autos and throwing them outside but I chopped my only male which was a reg seed not an autoflower so I decided against it. It was also pure sativa. Probably would of ended up with a really interesting cross.

What kind of yield are you expecting out of this grow.

That would of been a interesting cross. I might look into the Super Cali Haze Auto, Ganjapapa2010 (no-longer on utube) was growing a few of these under L.E.D.'s and they were looking gorgeous before he closed his account. Need more head space for a sativa though, unless it takes well to suppercropping or SCROG, for my particular set-up.

Well I hope for around 4 total between them all. Anything more would be greatly appreciated.

The Snowryders are still doing wonderful. No complaints at all.

#1 10"
#2 8.5"
#4 10"

They were fed water pH'd to 6.6 today. Buds still forming nicely, and seeds showing where pollenated:lol:.

On to the White Sharks.

White Shark #1 has no more signs of male flowers for the past few days. She looks a bit burnt. She also is not taking in as much water as #2, for obvious reasons. I cleaned her up a bit by removing some of the burnt fan leaves, hopefully she makes it through till harvest, her buds are looking great on top and smelling nice and lemony.

White Shark #2, the only problem that I have with her is that some of the lower buds are getting shaded by some of the upper fan leaves. NOT really a problem, just maybe have to harvest the upper part and let the lower part go for a few days when the time comes. The seeds are forming nicely on her where she was pollenated by the late Mr. Snowryder. So all in all not really any problems, I am very happy with her.

They also were fed H2O pH'd to 6.6 and their runoff was 5.8, the pH is rising slightly as I am expecting it to.

With my water being pH'd to where it is and the runoff at what it reads, and also knowing that the pH of the water will naturally start to rise after a few hours if it is not buffered with the proper levels of Ca and Mg, the water should rise after feeding allowing the roots to get their nutrients at different pH ranges that should be in the acceptable range. Remember I am growing organic and should have a nice range for the microbes to do their work and break things down.

This is what I hope is happening and should be according to what I have read extensively into about organics.;-)

Here are the pics.:eyesmoke:

Thanks for the compliments, but I wouldn't say I was a pro.

You gotta read alot, ask questions, and most importantly learn from your mistakes, and keep going.

I had to wait 2 yrs. to get my license, so in the meantime, I read alot and asked many questions from fellow patient growers and learned from helping and just watching until I got to start my own legal garden. This does not include all the learning from my childhood years of course, but just to get updated on the new techniques and what is good and crap for products and made my choices along the way and now am applying some of those things as I go along my merry way. Slowly but for sure aver harvest should be a learning experience and hopefully get better as it goes.

Patience is a virtue, the toughest part will be waiting for the harvest to dry and cure properly before even attempting to smoke it.
I am going for quality of smoke vs. quantity. Everthything else should come in due time, genetically restricted of course.

have fun and enjoy your grows.

Not seen much about the T5 lights over here. How do they compare to CFL's ?
Can't compare never used cfl's.

I do like the T-5's so far. Nice node spacing, very low heat, and makes for thick sturdy stems and branching.

Most people will use them for cloning, seedlings, and sometimes all of veg. If I had the space and heat wouldn't be an issue I would have a HPS for bloom, but so far so good with the red spectrum bulbs that my White Sharks are under.

yeah HPS is the way but to hot for my shed. The CFL's seem ok to me but would love to do a proper grow one day with all the shit ! have you tried assassin or snowrider before. Was interested to know what it's like?
