there not asking for assistance there asking them to open up a phone or what has made apple Rich from being legit and one step above all
TBH if you really want to break it down has the Government given the victims millions of dollars Cause this happened ???
its not about opening 1 phone its about the whole platform of which i phone was designed for security and protection of being hacked identity theft etc

If i was apple i would say Sure you want me to open someone elses property and also to make a back door that puts every single owner of my product at risk ??? then tell you what how does 450 trillion dollars sound and you an have it all cause if i do this then my company stands to lose profit from here on in
$$$$-vs-lives = No brainer to me.......Apple is rich enough

That's a slippery slope JJ, making booze illegal would save millions of lives this year alone.

I refuse to believe that a hacker couldn't make that Ten tries and self destruct into 10 million tries n self destruct.. The kids that hacked into the CIA were like 15.

It's all bullshit.

The fbi, nsa, and Apple (amongst others) can already hack your phone.
If you think they can't, give me your phone. It's good to have a hobby.

This is nothing more than a smoke screen to make you think you're safe from hacking via encryption so you are more liberal with your data (again).

Sandbox shit.

I don't buy any of that, normally they could hack any phone..this is the newest encryption from apple..apple is ahead of the government.. Apple is hiring the best n brightest.. The FBI or CIA isn't.

Strikes me as relevant that the only place you hear about an iPhone being so easily cracked is on weed forums.

If the hacker community at large knew this to be true it would also make news. And no, I don't believe that such a widespread known fact could be suppressed by controlled media.

Okay.
You're amongst those who believe it can't be broken.

Were you also amongst those who were shocked you were being spied on?
One of those who use/used the likes of Facebook and gmail and were surprised they were playing along with and siphoning/supplying Feds of all different countries data?

Well, I'm sorry, but if someone built it, someone has cracked it.

What kind of world do people think we live in?

You obviously don't visit places that may directly affect your security or daily life.
Weed forums? You're lucky you didn't hear about it 3 years down the road from the msm after its too late again.

You're welcome.

Stay safe.

You're all over the place man..

I absolutely believe this phone is vulnerable and can be exploited by skilled hackers..just none of the nerds @ the FBI... I'm talking about some 15 year old Russian kid who smokes weed n plays video games all day or a 20 year old kid in Tokyo who hacks government servers to test himself.

I've said for 20 years that every call n text is tracked n saved n certain keywords are flagged n looked at..everybody in my family said I was nuts til 3 years ago when it went public.

I'm amongst them also

The US gov has been building secrect facilities to hack, collect, store and use data from across the planet, and you believe they cannot access a device from a well known willing participant in the espionage game like apple?

Yes please, turn on iMessage so all data not only flows through gov and isp servers but also a proven participants server like apple or google.

I don't care about your security, but everyone should be well versed in the potential of computing and the potential for security flaws.

Who do you think works for the Feds?
They hire gamers to fly drones, who do they hire to hack the shit out of everyone :)

If you actually knew what happens you'd know I'm not all over the place by suggesting some people don't visit the right places to know that they can already be hacked.

The Feds hire clean cut book worm types..need a ridiculously clean record.. They need to have an open tryout n up their pay to get the real hackers...the only hackers that don't fit the typical nerd hire is when they arrest them n cut a deal to work with the CIA or FBI instead of prison.

You're completely wrong.
They hire those who can do what they need done.

Squeaky clean means nothing. Capabilities are everything.

They could always come out with a "Freedom" model, proving your name is not on the "No Fly List".

They could still sell "show me your papers" model here, as well as in china. Big win for apple.

I don't feel right giving up my privacy and future generations privacy because of a Red-Neck from TX.

Nah... You are very wrong my friend, do you even know the salary? Apple pays 3-5 times what the feds do. Its like trying to compare States Attorneys to the best criminal defense attorneys.. Its not even comparable.

And squeaky clean is prerequisite.

What do contractors pay my friend?

That's a simple example of how wrong you are. We could go further into secret programs ran by the gov ( like the data collection that has already happened )

Or

You can admit you haven't got a clue wtf you're talking about.

Another option for you is another few pages of being schooled.

As of recently, many laws have been circumvented to allow the spying of citizens or the collection of data to be shared by friendly participants of the spying.

So yeah, keep telling me they can't do it, they haven't done it, nor any of their "friends" haven't.

Like fuck, take a look and you will see it's already been done, but hey, trust the gov and the msm and not a friendly warning.

It's a shame really.

JJ thing you have to realize now is its just not a phone any more its a storage of wealthy info from banking info to your personal health info , some people use there phone like people having money in there wallet , so its not just giving out a key
and your right with Apple having 2 times more cash on hand then federal reserve does they can easily drag it out in Court and break the FBI if it came to push in shove they have enough money to break USA if they wanted to
And that alone should put red alerts up
