ok worst scenario. my landlord will notify me a couple weeks prior to coming to my place, its in the paperwork.
My name is hardly known to anyone of my friends' friends so if they got questioned my name wont come up.
The only people who previously knew of my grow think its destroyed already because of this incident.
Everything i have is locked up now inside my grow box (plants are on the top shelf, pipes n shit on the bottem. all locked up just asking for a seperate warrent.. if they even find it cuz its a stealth grow.. may i stress the importance of stealth. n i know better to let a cop into my crib. they have no reason to believe im harboring a fugitive

no doubt, sounds like you got your t's crossed. My Dads in FCI Memphis right now for not being careful enough. I live in a non-medi state, and hate to see anyone in your buddy's predictament.

I"m not so sure the 'seperate locked' law really applys to search warrants, as the warrant grants them legal access to search the entire property.

What you're referring to is, if lets say you and your gf get into a fight, cops get called for whatever reason(by you, her, the neighbors) and they come inside, they can do a walk thru and make sure there's nothing obvious they would miss(like in the movies when the detective comes up to the house and the victim is tied up with a ball gag or something).

In that scenario, they can't demand you to unlock a locked cubbard, nor can they force it open.

they have no reason to suspect me of growin tho, the warrent they would be getting is to find my friend and they can easily do that without tearing up my closet n finding my grow, nothings in plain sight
