Right now i think i am a couple of weeks past due on this plant i have(indica dominant mix breed). but it could have the sative flower and require longer flowering idk. buds are tight though, the hairs haven't retreated back to the bud completely and the trichs are still mostly clears.
I was told to count 12/12 as when you flipped the lights. and count flowering as when you see the hairs. I did 12/12 on Oct 18, and saw buds 2 weeks later.
Taday is 11 weeks 12/12 and 9 weeks flowering. i've heard that light leaks will cause a plant not to finish fully on time(delay harvest). holding back harvest by 2 weeks or more. (also trichs will too be slow to change from clear to milky. I have experienced this first hand.) i have a 60xscope and been checking daily, and i haven't noticed amber trichs yet. Unless any1 knows if they change in the last week of flowering, then i would presume that to be true. I set a 12 week deadline (4 or 5 weeks ago to harvest on the 10th of January. due to the fact that i couldn't keep light out of the flowering room.
