Today im driving hojme from class round 4 30, i hear a loud noise out of my car window, i look out my window, and what do i see, a police helicopter , thought not much of it as i get closer to my house it seems to circle the loop that i live on, and looks to circle my house itself. then flies away in dir. it came from, i have 1 250 watt in my room, with a clone/veg box with 5 46CFL's and my roomate has a 400 w hps for our flowering room. Is thst a sign to get rid of our lights/ setup... Let me kno what you all think.. or am i just being paranoid

Calm down my friend they aren’t going to send helicopters after you for growinig a couple plants in your house. If you had a gorilla grow in your back yard maybe, but in your case no. Did you smoke too much on your way home and get paranoid about this??? Just thought it was close to 4:20 and this might be a possibility. WAIT WAIT I THINK I SEE YOUR HOUSE ON TV!!! THEY ARE COMIN IN THE FRONT DOOR!!! Take it easy man

It doesn't make sense that they would use state and city resources to track down a home grow project with less than 1000 W of light. Plus, if they were after you they would be a little more descrete than sending a chopper to circle your house. THat might tip you off that they were on to you :)

i thought about the same stuff, like i am on the dl, only me n the roomie know, for sure. and they were about 100-150 feet ovr my house , haha .. tight circle like around my block, which is a loop of about 15 houses. I live in a gated comm. But i hear ya, theyd be more discrete. Any more opinons???

are you selling? if so and if your moving large quantities then i would be worried. cops do send helicopters and circle around to take pictures of the house there going to raid and also to plan out the raid. but if you growing small time shit i wounldnt worry about it.

Yeah are you selling the stuff and been doing this for some time now? sellin it will get ya in trouble quicker than growin it for yourself and a few very select friends. I would say if you have been sellin it ditch it and be done for sure.

Just so you understand, all your lights combined use less electricty than one small space heater. So you electricity usage did not alarm someone. It's more likely they were training or looking for a burglery suspect. You were of no concern.

What is considered a large grow that will attract attention. I want a 1000w HPS over 36 sites, and about 4 mothers under 500w of T-5s. How much bigger can I get w/o becoming noticed? P.S if you are worried about choppers buy the polyshield film that is IR proof around your grow.

You are absolutely right, my breaker went off in my room when I turned on the space heater. I check the bottom, 1500 watts for this little space heater. I ran my space heater constantly all last winter. I quickly realized how fuckin paranoid this 'war on drugs' has made us. Anything 1500 watts or under is NOTHING..

like 2 years ago ....

my parents rent houses, pretty nice houses, here in texas, and me and my older brother used to live in one of them.

i think he had about 40 or 50 plants growing and one night we noticed a helicopter, police or not we dont kno, but it was DEFINITELY LOW, and DEFINITELY stayed around our house.

freaked us the fuck out. hahaaaa he moved 2 days later.

but he sold alot of weed man.

How much weed could you possibly grow with a 400 W HPS? Don't think it would be enough to get law inforcement to organize a raid. Maybe if you lived in some small town in bumble fuck where the cops have nothing better to do, it could be a concern.

Plus, that stuff about the chopper flying low to take pictures of the house is crazy too. They can take pictures of you jerking off in your bathroom from much higher than that.

#1 they keep me warmer then her at night
#2 I can always count on them to get fired up
#3 they produce more then they take
#4 When I screw them in, they cum to life
#5 I can trust them to be there when I wake up
#6 They grow my weed!
