Should I buy a 6" or 8" carbon scrubber?

I grow 2-3 plants at a time in a 2x4 tent. I need to upgrade to a better carbon filter because my 4" filter is struggling with the stank. Would a bigger scrubber filter the air better? The price difference is only about 20 dollars between a 6" and 8" fan. I am thinking the 8 inch would be better, as I could slow it down to scrub the air better. I want to make sure I can grow some extremely funky strains, and not worry about it.

An 8" filter will just put more strain on the 4" fan.Notice how the filter has a recommended minimum.and maximum airflow rating?!

I am not going to use a 4" fan with an 8 inch filter. I am deciding whether to buy a 6" fan or an 8" fan. My area will be a small tent 2x4. The smaller 6" fan is about 370 cfm while the 8" is like 750 cfm.

Always go big and you can use a variac speed control to tune your cfm to your needs. An 8" at 70% speed will be less noisy than a 6" at full.

Snap thanks for the advice. I did notice the 8 inch has double the cfm. Id rather have too much filter, than not enough!
