Should I buy a playstation 3 or an Xbox 360?

I had a Xbox 360 white for 6 years and it finally fried up completely and iv been debating on whether or not to buy a 360 or a ps3. Iv been playing the ps3 for a while and I do like it but I have a bunch of games already for my Xbox but I am tired of paying for online gaming when I can get it for free with a ps3. The graphics look the same with an hdmi cable but the ps3 has a blu ray player and the Xbox doesn't. But on the other hand the online gaming is better for Xbox in my opinion so I'm stuck in the middle. The reason I wanna buy a new system is because of black ops 2 so what do you guys think I should buy?

black ops 2 is gonna be sick... ZOMBIES!!!! did you see the new reval trailer yet?

I would say Xbox. The PS3 has a blu ray player but unless you already have a ton of blu ray movies it doesn't matter. Why buy movies when you could download them for free? Xbox has a lot more games and is a lot more popular. I don't know anyone with a PS3. And you already have games for the Xbox so why buy them again?

Yeah I saw it and it's gonna be epic!! I'm gonna preorder soon so I can get the nuketown 2025 map but I wanted to buy the system before I preorder the game for a certain system that I don't have lol.

Almost all games are available for both systems. I have both, and prefer the ps3. Doing a side by aide with the same games, the ps3 graphics look a little bit better. Plus I like the ps controller better, I feel like I'm wearing a catchers mitt using the big, clunky Xbox controller.

That's my personal preference anyway

Yeah I was an Xbox preferred guy for a while strictly because of gears of war and halo which are one of my favorite games that the ps3 doesn't offer. But the free online gaming for ps3 was really luring me in and the ps3 controllers have the built in rechargablebattery and actually I prefer the big ass Xbox controllerscuz I have long skinny fingers and am used to the Xbox controller.

I hope black ops 2 doesn't suck like the first black oPS : P .........oh and as far as gaming system,I'm a ps3 fan so that's what I recommend......

just go with ps3. i have all 3 systems.... (wii for my kids) and i gotta admit i havent been able to play xbox simply because my membership expired and i am not going to cough up 50$ to play online when i can do it with ps3 for free. and not only that but in my case i have netflix as well and i cant even use it with the xbox. so i say go for ps3 and dont worry about your membership expiring

Ps3 all the way. Never had a problem once bought it years ago. Ive had 3+ xboxs go through my house all red ringed with proper ventilation and no abuse.

I prefer my PS3 over my 360. The blu-ray player is an incredible extra feature, and not having to pay to play online is great.

Also, my PS3 is almost five years old and it still works like the day I bought it. Sony just makes a better quality product I think.

I have an Xbox 360, but if I were you I'd go for the Playstation 3 just because Microsoft is a shit hole and they charge an arm and leg for online gaming. The PS3 can play blu ray dvds, amongst many other things.
