Should i buy my neighbors airfresheners for xmas?!

Hi, new noob here & i have a question & would appreciate greatly if someone could help, i searched through the forum but cudnt accuratley find my answer.

Is there a way to prevent neighbours from smelling my grow (50 plants)? they live right next door, there house is attatched to mine.

I read that you can use carbon filters but im not sure how succesful they are,

A carob filter is 100% virtually if you vent 100% of the rooms air through the filter. For 50 plants you'd need a large filter and a very powerful fan.

Noob grow... Don't know much about carbon filters.... 50 plants???

Are you sure you want to start with that many plants man? Especially if you're sharing a house.

I swear have the simplest grow going in these forums haha, but i know it takes time and experience to learn about stealth and that.

Is this your first grow? How far into the grow are you?

I havnt started yet, im about to & wanted to check in advance. I might do less than 50 but i figure i'll make mistakes with alot of plants & learn from each one. So the carbon filter wud make it totally smell free, thats great to know, thanks for that info guys, much appreciate it

Ur biggest problem is gonna be noise not smell. Starting with fifty ull not knowin anything kill them all so there won't be flowers to stink but those fans are gonna be noisy as hell.
Really though how much money do u seriously have to invest? A 50 plant op u better be sittin on 2-3k easy to do it right. /.02

Hey erkelsgoo, I dont have that much to invest, 1k at most, by the sounds of things i shud start off with a few plants for my learning curve. So the fans will be noisy? like so so noisy?

Majority of first time growers kill their first grow.....do you wanna maybe kill 50? Start with a few mate.

i was successful hiding 2 TINY ones in the house 1st grow from g-friend, dude, 8 flowering now STINKS. 50 you better be cutting them in

Even with carbon filters if the houses are attatched they still might get a wiff of them every once in awhile via leaks in the walls, attic , roof areas etc.. you better be real careful and i would start off with less than 50 maybe 10, your goin to have more issues tthan just odor, noise from fans, ventilation, light, electric consumption but maybe im just paranoid
