Wait until most hairs are brown. If you can get a 10x microscope look at the tri and I like to harvest when they are a mix of milky and amber.

It can affect your high you get out of it. Amber would be a bit more of a couch lock type high and milky is more like a heady high so I like to mix them. I would send you some links or something but I'm on my cell phone.

i think i should chop when there milky then. Is milky more of that energetic high? I dont think i like couch lock. Is couch lock when your body tingles? sometimes when i smoke it gives me real bad anxiety. other times i love it and just wanna go outside and play fetch with my puppy haha

yes if you want a more energetic high milky would be better. couch lock is a really lazy high when you don't even want to change the tv channel. the strain that you grow will have most effect on the high you get and this is your little way of adjusting it to where you like.

the trichomes open? I have grow a bunch of pot and never knew this??? I have never seen them opening when looking through my desktop microscope ????

wait for her to dry a lil and then flush, they say 2 weeks but 1 or 2 last watering with just water is just the same in my eyes, i personally only flush for a week and its fine, if you dont flush you just get harsh popping n sparkling joints with a dark ash

I would honestly invest in the microscope.. hairs def don't tell the whole truth... I would flush when the tri are just starting to turn milky it should be about 2 weeks from that point to harvest

i ordered a microscope. should be hear early next week. i dont really want many amber tris. so im thinking sometime next week im going to chop. i want it done by 420 haha

next week should be a good time. then next time you grow you have the experience and microscope to know when you want to harvest for optimum high/yield

I really couldn't tell you... but what you can do is grow your plant to the end of your veg and clone it then flower the mother and stick to that same veg time every time and you will have a much better guess of future grows of whatever specific strain you decide to continue to grow
