Ive grow a few times before, but this is the first legal harvest i'll have, and its lookin good... (better equipment) I have 4 plants - 3 chemo and 1 gremlin (the gremlin's the tall one with 2 top colons) growing under 1000W light with CO2 generator and nutrient program... I saved some of the leaves when trimming the top colons cause they were covered in thc, dried them out and threw them in my volcano... wow im excited to say the least...
They're about 7-8 weeks into budding, im pretty sure the tops of all the colons are ready for hanging, but the buds are still pretty small near the bottoms, about smartie size... the hairs have turned orange and the crystals are just starting to turn light tan. should i cut off the tops and leave the bottoms to get bigger, or should i just chop it all?

Yea i would just cut them all down if 80% of the hairs have turned. You should really invest in a microscope to look at the tricones to see for sure

If the tops are lookin done, and the bottoms need more time by all means, chop the tops, and leave the lower colas. Which by the way is the term you were wanting to use, not "colons". But other wise man, they look like some nice plants.
