Should I chop?

I'm in a bit of a situation, I got a bit of bud rot on these plants. Buds are rock solid. Caked in trichomes smells amazing. I chopped away the rot but starting to get a small bit more. Finding keeping the humidity below 50 hard. Thing is these plants look ready all the pistils are brown and a few trics amber BUT it's only day 44 since flip. These are supposed to be fast flowers anyway but day 44 isn't something I've ever experienced this advanced at day 44. Strain is silent seeds B-45. Giving the circumstances and to bring humidity down do you think it be ok.

What do people feel about opening buds up to take a look inside? Or cutting them up into smaller pieces for drying
I agree with budz.
If you know there's an issue it's best to do a bud wash, fan dry, and then break down into smaller sizes and mesh rack them
Sucks those buds look great. The spores came from somewhere, so make sure you clean clean clean then clean again. When you think you've done enough do more. Spores linger, and can ruin future crops. The mold can also do damage to your home :(. Spray your walls and floors down with concrobium (sp?) Bleach all tools, pots, irrigation equipt etc. Ozone the room, and the tent. Then wipe down the tent with a mild bleach solution and leave it to air dry.
I'm a moldaphobe... I can't have mold ruin crops. Can't happen, won't happen.
(Ask me why). No don't. Lol

Also DO NOT lump all the flowers together when you chop, be diligent about separating the rotted buds at the time of cutting it all down. Bud wash the non rotted buds as soon as you cut them down

I lumped a whole plant together and it only had one spot of rot, but it all spread while it was sitting in a bag waiting to get trimmed. I tossed the whole thing

This is why I sanitize with Vinegar then soap and water after every grow. Those buds look pretty good by the way. If you're getting bud rot I'd chop 'em and process them.

I've set up some uvb lights in the hope of killing some spores
ive read somewhere that a lethal dose of UVC is what it takes too kill or neutralize a mold spore. im not sure if uvb will do the job maybe it will im not sure but what i do know is UVC would kill the spores or neutralize them 100% good luck man
