Maybe a week tops IMO. The hairs are receded and orange which is a good natural sign that she's ripe/ripening.

He sees amber tric's because his bud has degraded... it is not done... it is damaged...
Your plant is not done...
Will it finish? Depends how much damaged you did?
The burnt brown, is not amber...it is damaged... Not good for final smoking...
Squeeze [gently] your bud 3-4" below the top cola... is it soft/airy/squeshie?
Then it's not done... If you feel rock hard bud... then it's done...
Checking Trichomes on a Burnt Plant... Waste of time... Of course you have burnt leaves and bud...
Of course you see brown... that does not = amber trichomes... it ='s burnt/degraded...

well I'm not sure if it was the right thing to do but i cut it down... on to the next...
the buds were as hard as a rock... now that they have been hanging for a day they seem very soft... is that normal?
