Should I get RO water for clones? 180PPM Tap

I had read it was good practice to keep the air pump above the level of your water if you don't have
a back flow check in your air lines to prevent water from getting into your pumps. I shall get a box tho rather than on the lids. Is a
accident waiting.

Yes that's true. If pump shuts off from electrical outage...it could backflood. I understand if you hang them in the air, they make less noise. Just a thought.
