Should I grow?

So I'm contemplating growing. I'm tired of wasting money and the risky business with dealers. I'm 18, last year of high school, and this summer I have practically nothing to do, already accepted into the college I wanted so yeah....still living with parents though. I've read up on just about everything and I understand the smell, issue, nutes, you name it. I've got a badass carbon scrubber from when we used to have ferrets. I can get all the supplies I need from my garage and the nutes and other plant stuff from a store nearby, it'll be a small grow not even noticeable on the electric bill. So I come to you for advice, should I grow this summer so I can have a private stash when I go off to college, or should I wait till I have my own apartment(which will be like after freshman college year)?

I would wait for sure, growing in someones house who does not approve is asking for trouble. Depending on where you live you could guerrilla grow this summer and go to college with alot more weed than you could ever grow in your room.

I would suggest waiting till you have your own place. You could build a box, take your time and perfect it and save that box for your first apartment.

Agreed Never grow in someone elses house if they do not know.

Wait til you move and perfect your grow box ready for your move. Then you can secretly grow your own stash and sell a bit to help with college fee's etc to your very close friends but never tell them you grow it.

hmmm great advice guys. I guess I can deal with annoying dealers until I have my own place. Lol now I have giant box full of grow stuff. I should put on it "Open in 2 years"

agreed 100% grow outdoor

having all of those items, especally the carbon filter would make it really tempting to grow indoors. im not advocating growing in moms house (but ive done it too) atleast start them indoors and move them out whenever your local climate allows

I can tell you from experience...

When I was 15 or so, I started my first grow. Bagseed in the attic of my parents house. BAD idea. Nothing went right and eventually my mother caught me climbing in there and I had to get rid of the plant.

It's just not worth it. Start something in your own place. Sorry man. I know it sucks but unless you wanna grow outdoors, wait to have your own place. Don't involve anyone who doesn't want to be involved.

It's all worth it when you smoke that first blunt of homegrown superweed from your first harvest.

How come everywhere I ask they say to do a guerrilla grow? Wouldn't that be worse in possibly getting me caught by the cops?

outside dude would be better. less chance you getting clocked if in a decent place just be smart about not leaving tracks and telling no 1. check on here bro for outdoor growing. gl

well any kinda growing takes some balls. ya gotta accept you can get caught. know the consequences. then decide. but from my point of view, the bigger the risk, the bigger the prize. and life is just a game of risk if you take all the unimportant shit out of it. good growing is for people with a certain level of intelligence and appreciation for the world around them. so guerilla, indoor, fucking walking out your door is all risky.
