Should I harvest bit at a time?

Hi, my plants (NL and AK-48, semi-outdoor) are in the 6th week of flowering and I was surprised to find, upon inspecting with the microscope, that the tops of all the buds (regardless of their position on the plant) have at least 10-30% amber trichomes. Lower down, they are nearly all cloudy. There are also lots of brown hairs at the tops of the buds (50%, down to 10-30% lower down). I'm not sure why this is, although perhaps because it's an outdoor grow with 9hrs of strong sunlight and hot temperatures? It's also an early finish but it seems that leaving the plants another 2 weeks will leave them past their best.

Anyway, I was wondering if I should harvest parts of the plant already, since I don't really want more than 30% amber trichomes. I'm worried that if I wait another week, the top parts will be too far gone. Do you have any advice in terms of getting the maximum possible THC yield without the high becoming too couchlock?

The NL plant has developed a lot of buds, although mediocre in size, and looks the most ready of the two. The AK-47 has big frosty buds with mainly white hairs although again, at least 30% amber trichomes at the buds' tops.

Thanks
