Should I harvest?

I thought I would post some trichome photos and see what everyone's opinion is.

I prefer cloudy with say 10-15% amber. My opinion is wait another week and chop at 10.

ROFL...those 2 bottom ones are actual calyxes from the top cola and middle buds. Nothing is more definitive.
I always take a small sugar leaf as reference to compare trichome development to the calyxes. Gives me a sense of overall ripeness.
You make a good point...beginners who read this don't use sugar leaves as trichome reference as they are typically more developed than the bud themselves.

Posting some milky trichs with a few starting to turn amber is great, but that only indicates you could harvest now.

Better question is can/should you push longer, whole plant pictures will help with that question.

Are the fan leafs yellowed out or still healthy?
What about the longer sugar leaf, mostly healthy or half dead baddly neut burned?
White hairs still popping off or shriveled up and orange?
Has bud size/density increased over last 2/3 days or has it seemed to taper off?
Are the buds looking happy or have you pushed them hard, causing stress foxtailing and risking nanners popping off?

Yes, finished buds are more definitive than scoping trichs.

Actual finished buds. If you touch the buds while they are growing you could easily effect the trich appearance..
Why are you here asking for help if you are challenging the help of those with experience?
 
get a few grows under your belt, and do some experimenting... Let a plant go too long, chop one nice and early, take a sample when you *think* the bud is done, and dry it for a week to confirm, if its done, congrats, you gave it another week to fatten up, if not, you just gave it another week to fatten up. We see this question on the thread 25 times a day, if you need to ask if the plant is done, you really don't have the experience yet to challenge the answers despite what you've read and retained.
