Should I harvest?

I've just viewed to samplings of buds under a microscope. I would say that 98% of the trichomes I viewed are cloudy. Only a few of them have turned amber. the hairs haven't really begun to change color though. Only a very small percentage are brown. Is it time for me to harvest?

hi there, i would say if there is that much clouding then it is time for the chop. the tri's will still rippen for a while after being cut as i really explored my last crop during and after and there was much changes for upto 5 days after the chop. i noticed they turned amber more after the chop.
But if the hairs are still not 50/50 white to orange then you could still be producing lots more thc and or weight, it is important not to miss the swelling stage as i have almost given up on a crop b4 that didnt look like it would amount to much but gave it 2 weeks and it filled loverly .
any pics would be great mate!!!!!

The amber color you see is caused by the cameras white balance settings. In the third photo, I change the camera setting.

ok. My OPINION, would be to wait it out a little longer. Mind you, the high that I perfer is the couchlock body high, if you perfer a more head high, then its about that time, this is only my OPINION. Wait for some more posts before you chop thats for sure.

If the hairs are still alive, then the plant is still producing THC, but if the more hairs are dead then alive, THC production is slowing, Eventually all pistils will die and the plant will too, since cannibis is an annual. You can measure how far along each bud is,and the high you will attain by trich color, amber trichs = more of a couchlock, cloudy trichs = up head high, clear = deffinatly not ready. This is my take on the subject, and again this is my opinion, If I am wrong please someone point this out, so you can help out the both of us! This is how I determine harvest!

I think I'll wait it out a little longer. It seems like there's still new sets of hairs still coming in.

Will do. This my second attempt. The first was pretty good. But this plant looks twice as good as the first.

Ya its all about the trichomes on the power of the thc the hairs kinda tell u if there producing thc or are slowing down, u gotta watch ur timing cuase if u left it like all brown hairs and stuff to get amber trichomes the thc will start to diteriate
