Should I I defoliate or let it ride?

I have heard many conflicting arguments on defoliation of plants. One side says defoliate the other say no. I am currently on week 2 of flower and this is my first scrog, so the question is should I defoliate and Loli pop or let it ride?20191105_080312.jpg

agree with GrnLeavz

also, if any leaves or leaf fingers are sitting on bud sites; either tuck them or simply snip off the part of the leaf finger that is covering the bud/bud site (that way you still get the energy benefit of the leaf and the bud sites get more light)

Some strategic defoliation is the right answer here. A few blocking light to lowers, a few to improve airflow. Any leaves damaged beyond repair and any that are receiving less than 200 ppfd are a waste of energy and should go. But really plants and buds are better with their leaves. It's how plants perform photosynthesis. When you pull too many, the plants grows more bud leaf to compensate. Sucks to smoke leafy buds. Also sacrificing cannabnoids with too much defoliation. Shit's only for cash croppers and newbs!
