Should I keep these plants or throw them away?

hey guys i was wondering if you think i should keep these plants, they’re nirvana ak48 feminized. i planned on using them for mother plants. my problems first started a couple days after i transplanted when i realized i was overwatering them and it took me like a week to stop overwatering lol and the humidity was getting low like 20-40% and the temps kept bouncing from high 60s to low 80s so i got a humidifier and a thermostatically controlled fan switch and raised my lights so now my environment and watering problems are solved but when everything was going on one of the plants leaf tips started pointing up and turning white/yellow and drying out and getting crumbly. fast forward to today and the leaf is like totally dead and the other leaf is still drooping but the new set of leaves that grew are perky as hell and look healthy, the only thing I’ve noticed is on each new set of leaves theres like a brownish/purplish color on the new leaf growth but it goes away before the leaf gets big, anyone know what this is? cotyledons are almost fully yellow now too. the growth rate has been slow though (even though i just fixed my problems like 4 days ago) i put the seed in a rapid rooter to germinate on dec 23rd and transplanted december 30th and put them under 400w hps (i know i put them under way too strong of a light, lesson learned) i haven’t fed them yet either but i been adding 35% h2o2 (hoping i don’t have root rot) and my tap water is like 100-150ppm. should i keep them? i feel like they might still have a chance but if you think i might have ruined their chance to be healthy moms please let me know

If they still have green leaves they have a chance. I can't see any color in your pics under the hps. You also left out fairly important info like grow method. It looks like flood and drain, if so flood times and things like that. How much h202 are you adding you could be burning the roots, they're fragile especially at only 2-3 weeks old. Are you keeping the ph in check? Post pics in regular light and any other info you think could be helpful before throwing them out. If you have more seeds you could start them looks like you have room, but they could end up in the same condition again.

the new leaves are a nice (id say healthy) looking green. but yes flood and drain every 6 hours for 7min (takes 7min to drain back) I have a 22gal res i added 15ml of h202 and yes ph is on point... i have more seeds (have 2 NL by sensi that i just sprouted ) id just rather keep the ak if i can. heres more pics, these are the best i could get right now since I'm taking the pic with my mac book Photo on 1-11-16 at 5.40 AM #2.jpgPhoto on 1-11-16 at 5.40 AM.jpgPhoto on 1-11-16 at 5.41 AM #2.jpgPhoto on 1-11-16 at 5.41 AM #3.jpgPhoto on 1-11-16 at 5.41 AM.jpgPhoto on 1-11-16 at 5.42 AM.jpg

If you haven't fed yet I would feed very lightly and see if they improve. I have no first hand experience with flood and drain so take this with a grain of salt, but I would make sure your watering often enough and deep enough to reach the roots.

thanks for your input, I'm just afraid if i grow them out they might hermie or some shit and that would be devastating, i was also going to throw the northern lights on the same table/res if i kept them

If you want mothers you should grow the plant out before you commit. Flower everything and use the clone that has the best flowering mother as the grandiousma.

well thats what ill definitely do eventually but right now I'm kind of on a time limit so right now i just need 2 mothers I'm not so much worried about being picky which ones i pick and choose as long as they're healthy heres some pics of the roots (i know i probably just sent the plant back another week from shock lol) Photo on 1-11-16 at 8.14 AM #2.jpg

i know, especially to keep them evenly moist
Theres a product called rock wool thats cheaper than those. The only thing different about them is that you have to soak them in water that has ph down added to it to bring it to 5.5 i think. Thats it. It is way easier to rehydrate and keep moist than rapid rooters.

lol yeah I'm well read on rock wool and sure it might be easier to keep noisy and transplant with it but id rather ignore pre soaks and ph fluctuations all together. id rather master what I'm doing now with rapid rooters than run from problem to problem because all thats going to happen is i will switch to rock wool, then i'll be dealing with a whole other set of problems that i need to figure out and its like starting over plus r.w holds way more water then rapid rooters for way longer and i don't like the idea of that. thanks though

The presoak is fast and easy and they cost less and are more reliable once you have them figured out. They say rapid rooters are easier for new growers to work with, but almost all the growers i know that start with them end up with rock wool because of price alone. Then they stick with em because of the consistancy. Rapid rooters will give you problems drying out, and rock wool will give you problems staying too wet. Remember that. Them hydro stores will take all your money if you give it to em ;)
