Should I re plant my seedlings yet?

Hey guys, I am a first time grower and I had a couple questions. I started with 13 seeds. I germinated 8 using the paper towel method and planted 5 in jiffy pots. All of my seeds germinated so I planted those in jiffy pots as well. I have been running 3 seperate 100 watt cfl daylight bulbs on them and have a heating pad under them, I also have a fan running. 12 of the 13 have sprouted and look pretty good. I planted them 10 days ago, most are about 3 inches tall and starting to grow the third set of leaves. I plan on moving them into 5 gallon containers and I was wondering when I should do this? I also have a 400 watt hps system and I was wondering when I should move them from the cfl lights to my hps. Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Happy growing

i would prob move them in the next week or 2. and im not sure on the HPS but i think its better for flowering but i might be wrong. it might be good for u to go ahead and move those under the HPS and keep the CFLs around the as well. just wait for more input cus im not an expert.

You dont have to transplant em just yet, the beauty of those jiffy pots is you can just transplant the whole pot, I would wait another week to 10 days myself, but thats usually from me not having the space for more large containers. If you wanna transplant em asap it shouldnt hurt, just keep the HID lamp well away from those young plants to be safe, as they dont hold as much water at that size. Sounds like you are prepaired for a fine grow, high 5 to ya. If you dont wanna transplant em right away , you can wait til they about 3 weeks old if need be.

The HPS arent as good for veg yes, alot use MH but I have vegged with HPS many times for building up and had good results, least good enough for me.

Hey guys, I noticed a couple of the big leaves are starting to droop down. Any reason why this may be happening. If you look in the pics you can kind of see it. Do my plants look normal and healthy? This is my first time so I have no clue what they should look like.

I would guess you are over watering them a bit. Wait to water them until the top layer of soil is fairly dry and/or the pots seem light when you pick them up.

So I am new to growing as well, I have just been reading alot about indoor growing. From that size right there I am sure you are kepping the cfls on all the time 24/0, how long will you wait before you switch to 18/6. Or in general from that size how long should one wait before starting the 18/6 veg light cycle? They look great and its ok if the little round leaves curl up because they are going to die and fall off! They look great dude!! What is the strain?

OH, I just saw this thread is a little old! How are the girls doing now? Everything well?
