Should I Run A Fan Over Drying Buds?

After you dry you put the weed in a jar, and it "sweats", so you open the jar every few hours for the first couple days so it can let off excess moisture.
Yeah, I always just thought that was the curing process, and since Diabolical666 said they go back in the mesh rack, It may have been different, in some way...

Just remember something. Air should be circulating not blowing right on the buds. When if you allow that nice slow cure you won't have to deal with that hay smell they get (for long) and a slow cure actually can help bring up the potency.

Its the whole point...get the excess water out of the buds . This is so you dont have to dry your shit for 10 days lol
OH, now I FULLY understand thanks. Makes good sense. So the cure jar speeds up the process. I do have a little concern (but I just need to be more vigilant in getting it out of the jar if it is still too wet), and its to do with a fuck up I did. I thought it was dry enough but the attempt at an early cure backfired and locked the Chlorophyll in the buds and DESTROYED the taste and potency...

Locked the chlorophyll? The chlorophyll breaks down in the darkness. IME..afyer a few days on the rack and it gets crispy..then its time to sweat out any excess moisture..if its really wet after the sweat then it goes back on the rack for 12 hrs. If it didnt sweat alot Ill just keep it in the jar with the lid open till desired moisture content. Then the broveda goes in. Then popping for a few days after.

Not dank enough maybe that could happen.

In my own experience hydro bud dries a week faster than soil bud. That might have something to do with it.

Al b fuct has a great thread on here is you ever have time to waste.

He made me a fan when he said that he includes the finger hash he gained from trimming his clients oz./s in with their order. From the photo looked like a couple grams. Nothing slows down consumption like some good hash

Who wants to market something that smells like hay....
Not to mention ... Tastes like shit !! Wanna know if your buds are dry enough for the jar ? Simply bend the small stem that the flowers are attached to and see if it snaps or if it merely bends, indicating to much moisture. Wanna needlessly slow down the drying process and potentially make trouble for yourself ? Take your partially dried buds after only 3 days and put them in a jar. :leaf:

I've never understood why if you take months growing something, you would want to rush a cure and ruin it. It's a game of patience.
It's the age of instant gratification. I'm sure in the future we can dry buds in seconds and have em be as good as doing it the proper way, but til then, FUCKING WAIT/.

the guys method I shared is very experienced, just cause you can't do it , don't assume others cant.

AL B has a mean grow game I admit but even he admitted he was a lazy stoner... That jar sweating sheet caused about a pound of mould to happen. I can wait 7-12 more days for my method to finish.

wrong. slowly removing the moisture is to allow chemical reactions to take place and if it is done too fast it can't happen so when the buds are put into a jar to wet they haven't had enough time to go through that process and to do the whole process can take 10 days according to the bud. all a bud sweating in a jar means is it was put in the jar too soon. what's this lol shit?

Can you explain to me all the chemical reactions taking place during a slow dry process in comparison?
