Should I start flowering?

Whats up RIU?

Just wondering if it's okay to put these girls into flowering. I know that I could go for longer, but I just got my hydroponic systems and need the space, so I'm trying to finish this grow ASAP.

What do you think, I'm all ears.... or eyes I guess...:neutral:

Your fine to flower now....I have flowered way smaller than that before. Not a problem.....!!!

They have been in veg for about a month. The strain is Nirvana's new fems, Medusa.

Awesome, thanks. I figured they would be okay, I've had them in five gallon buckets for about 3 weeks so the roots should be sturdy by now.

Put them in. They're little but the will get bigger in flower and give you a nice pile of yummy buds.

I have a question i have 3gal pails with 2 plants in each are the pots big enough? And also how big should they be before i start to flower to get max yield....Please help

My OPINION is that the 3gal buckets wont be big enough to house two plants comfortably. This is only because you say your trying to get MAX yield, so I assume that you'll veg for at least 6 weeks. So no-go on the 3gal buckets, you should transplant them into their own 3 (or 5) gal buckets for max yield.

About when to start flowering, most strains fully mature around 6-7 weeks of veg. So I guess, according to all of these fine fellows who answered my post, whenever you see fit.

im not sure what kind of soil to use. i shop at home dept,lowes and walmart. does anyone know what kind of soil i should buy?????

KWSmoke, nice plants bro. what light did you use to veg those?

Brian. if you have all those stores close to you, then you should have a hydro store within an hour of you, maybe closer. do an internet search. if you cant find anything, then try any regular nursery. again, the internet is your friend. get any soil that has NO TIME RELEASE NUTES!

hey everyone. im totally new here, but im starting my first grow in a cupple weeks. waitin to order my seeds and dats wut i need help with. im using a whole room with 2 1000 hps and a 400 mh. i am in search of a reputable seed bank who ships to the us, chicago pref. i am seekin sour diesel seeds. any help wud be much needed. thx

I went with an all organic mix that I made. Here is the recipie I used. It was enough to fill 4 five gallon buckets.

1 bag of regular soil- 40 lbs
1 bag of top soil - 10 lbs
1 bag of worm castings-10 lbs
1 part of pearlite
1 part vermiculite
1 tbl spoon per gallon of bat guano
1 tbl spoon per gallon of blood meal
and 1 tbl spoon per gallon of bone meal

I used a T5 fluorescent above them and a HUGE 300W CFL i found at a specialty shop chillin on a reflector.

Thanks man, can't wait to start seeing some buds. I'm still just kind of amazed though, for a first indoor grow this is going pretty smooth.
