ok so this is the last harvest im gonna have in this current location so im trying to make it big so it will last till i can get started up again in my new house. with that out of the way
i have 6 female ice plants ( from nirvana shop ) started with 10 but 3 were males 1 was suffering from shock due to toping and nute burn so i killed it to conserve light for the healthy ladys.
they are soil plants each in their own individual 5 gallon grow bag with pro mix soil no pre added nutes just co op fungus for the roots
im using general hydroponics maxi series dry nutes and i have a feeding schedual and a ppm meter now so thats going well no more guess work.
the plants are inside a 4x4x6 grow enclosure and i keep the lights close to prevent stretching
the light source is 2 400 watt MH lamps ( i have the HPS bulbs for flowering ) and a t5 with 6 horticultural bulbs. I have 4 of the plants under the MH lamps and 2 dirrectly under the t5 ( the plan was to make the ones under the flouresent mothers but that will have to happen later )
i am debating getting that 130 dollar co2 bucket but im not sure yet ( thoughts on this i know it increases yeild hurts potency but thats it i dont know the extent of either i have heard 40 % more yield, is this correct ?)
my goal is to get around 3-4 oz dry per plant, grow space isn't an issue its more how large can i let them get befor my light sources are insufficient
so basicly how much larger should i let these get befor i start flowering, should i get the Co2 bucket and would it be worth while to buy another 1000 watt hps for flowering or do i have enough already to achieve my desired yield
