Should i start flowering?!?!

Hey guys, I am on what i believe is day 50 of my first successful indoor grow. She was born from a random bagseed and began her life under a friends care (which was horrible) growing under a regular lightbulb you would find in your ceiling. Now i understand the basics of growing, and ive watched and read enough on growing to have it successfully work in the past, but i have grown outdoors and never seen something like this. I have a large husky flourescent flood lamp ontop with 2 smaller cfl daylight lamps at the bottom of it. i noticed my leaves were wilting at the bottom, but upon further discovery, theyre only growing towards the light that i have at the base of the plant! around its 5th node i fimmed it, and the results are amazing. Vigorous growth exploded from then til now. now as i said i believe this is day 50 only because when i had gotten the plants they were already about 2 weeks old, and ive had them for a little more than a month now. im using coconut fiber as growth medium and jacks 20-20-20 solution and small amounts of hydrogen peroxide during feedings, which happen once a day. To be entirely honest, i dont know or measure the ph levels, i have a 16/8 schedule going, and im really just guessing with a lot of the feeding amounts and lighting and stress testing it. My main question, understanding the plant will double, possibly triple in size during flowering, when should i switch to the 12/12 lighting schedule, and as opposed as to just jumping from a 16/8 to a 12/12, should i ease the light schedule from one to the other over a period of days? Any feedback will help!

now i have my lights nearly inches away from this one plant, and i fimmed young, in addition to it having a very hard beginning as i said before. Now understanding that your plants are sativa dominant, making them bigger, and youre presumably using a hps setup, no signs of nute burn or anything else is happening for that matter. the nute to water ratio is highly diluted

Here are some more pictures of my ghettotastic grow setup as well as the mini palm tree. maybe these pictures could help provide more help7078_620762771270103_1735434748_n.jpg8493_620762947936752_1348348786_n.jpg419049_620762731270107_899611539_n.jpg944418_620762964603417_1320411932_n.jpg969708_620762751270105_1207970041_n.jpg971389_620762717936775_282790401_n.jpg972278_620762684603445_1583748361_n.jpg1004025_620763507936696_359748416_n.jpg

By the looks of the pictures you dont have the room to let her get too big?? I'd flower in a week i'd say depending how big you want your plant to be.

Totally agree with RIKNSTEIN way too small, get rid of your lighting and chuck a 400w HPS over her within about 10 days she might be ready to turn to 12/12 but gee you turn now, be prepared for disappointment,

She is in a storage bin. and if i had the money or availability to run a HPS system, i absolutely would. unfortunately funds are tight and i am making due with what i have. now understanding she is small, i did a lot of stress testing to strengthen the stem which could be the main cause. she is about 10 inches tall, and as previously stated, growing in something much larger than a 20 gallon smart pot; being a storage container ive modified to allow air flow to both the plant and the roots. NOw obviously you guys cant see her, but she has close to 20 nodes from sprouting leaves to now, after fimming. the nodes have mere millimeters between them. if i continue to veg this INDICA DOMINANT STRAIN, wouldnt it just be a little bush as opposed to these long drawn out plants seeking light? ive also lollipopped the plant, (if you cant tell) but as ive said THIS IS MY FIRST INDOOR GROW and money is tight. ALSO i am not entirely sure of the actual age of the plant, all i know is ive had it for about a month. as also stated before, the plant came to me long and skinny and deprived and this is what it rejuvenated into
