basically i wanna know if i should start over or work to try save these plants... i apologize for pic quality upfront.

my original setup started off with a few 9watt cfl which i found to be not enough so i went out and bought some upgrades cuz my plants were so small.

original setup

upgrades

after i installed these new lights my plants were a bit bigger but still were nothing like i see in the pics on here, but i had another problem...as soon as the plants got 2 pairs of leaves they would all start to get yellow over time. at first i thought it was lack of nutes and added some to there water. *the nutes that we have here is in a granular form like sugar and it says 20 20 20, no brand name or anything*

the leaves were all nice and full looking just without the green pigment wen i added the nutes, next morning all 3 plants shrinked in size leave were all burnt and they cud hardly stand on their own... i flushed the system and put them in 5.2 ph water for a few days. there was one plant in soil i didnt give any nutes so it wasnt burnt. i made 2 more grow boxes and put one light in each i put all plants in one of the new boxes which has 70watts of light instead of 205watts. after a few days the plant in the soil who didnt get any nutes got the green pigment back into its leaves, the other 3 are still fighting but i see some new leaves comin up which are also yellow...i added a tiny bit of nutes to the water *way less than the first time so far with the added nutes they dont look any better or any worst but it has only been about 2 days since i added it,

should i wait and see if they get better or should i get rid of them and move on?

pics of sick plants

also my reservoir feels very chilly, the box that the plants are in now are 2 old coolers the temp never goes above 80 with light on and is about 68 with the light off. should the res temp be ok?

start your seeds in paper towel. move to rockwool as soon as you have taproots. allow for drainage once the plant shows true leaves. introduce more light slowly. every day or two, add another light bulb. cover your seedling with a clear plastic solo cup to retain humidity and trim every third set of leaves in half. this will encourage root growth

Ummm, I would disagree with most all of that. You don't need to dome seedlings. And definitely not cut the leaves of seedlings. You may be thinking of cloning, which all of that is still not necessary.

To OP, they do look like they may be more trouble than they are worth at this point. If you were doing soil, I would say just replant and bury them up to the cotyledons. I don't fool with rockwool & hydroton so I really don't have much to offer, just wanted to rebuke the advice above. :eyesmoke:

Yes they are dead. Even the ones in the soil(with weeds in it) are very sick, its too hot in there and your overwatering the rw cubes.
