well what im waiting on ... not really hoping on but expecting is i used 100% bagged seeds there was no sexation of them... so im assuming that out of the 8 plants i have... that most likely with the percentage of chance applied being male/female....50/50 ... that if left to percentage chance 4 out of the 8 will be male... thus freeing up alot of room..i mean say there's 5 male... thennn even more free room... say there's 3 male... it'd still free up more then enough room for me to open the floor for more space/light... because this is the only place i have to grow them its a closet ... thats 3.5 ft/ 6 ft. perfect size... excellent little grow box... just didnt anticipate the size of the 5 gallon smart pots lol.. when i ever looked at them inside the closet i was like... fml... these fuckers are huge LOL and reading up on cutting big large shade leafs... being my first time.. im going to go with an article i read on cutting shade leaf's i'll post it
LET IT GROW.
don't cut, cutting the fan leaves off might create a metabolic imbalance.
"Removing large amounts of leaves may interfere with the metabolic balance of the plant. If this metabolic change occurs too late in the season it could interfere with floral development and delay maturation. If any floral inhibitors are removed, the intended effect of accelerating flowering will probably be counteracted by metabolic upset in the plant. Removal of shade leaves does facilitate more light reaching the center of the plant, but if there is not enough food energy produced in the leaves, the small internal floral clusters will probably not grow any larger. Leaf removal may also cause sex reversal resulting from a metabolic change."
