you will have to learn this as you go with experience, but I would start with lowers, its pretty easy to identify little branches and leaves in the undergrowth that dont stand much of a chance of receiving light. as for the top, looks like you've got the space you need, start by removing a few large fans that are covering other tops, I would not do much once you're flowering, I can also say these plants are tough and you could remove a lot more than you think (80+%) and still overflow your space depending on the strain.. anyhow good luck, they look great, and you really can't fuck it up when it comes to defoliation.

Like the other guy said, remove the shit on bottom thats not getting any light. Otherwise, mostly leave them alone. Your plants are pretty good size for the space they are in and well spread out. I would recommend putting your pots in saucers to catch the runoff, you want to fully saturate your pots when you water. Water until you get some runoff and the pots will suck it right back up.

Its too much to cover in a few posts. Google defoliation and pruning.

The sun vs a grow room causes a lot of us to want to create a flat canopy of quality buds to maximize the lighting in a room.

With a very healthy plant defol and pruning can be done to attempt to maximize the quality and quantity.

Short version is remove large fan leaves in the middle blocking many smaller buds coming up. Carefully remove other large fans that block good airflow, especially when several are bunched up. When the plant begins to reach final height some lollipop it (and some do this before then). It provides better airflow and by some thought a waste down that low to bother growing (not enough light, creates larfy buds).
