its 30" tall purple wreck (purple eurkle x train wreck) 2.5 months vegging... just started flowering today.. 600 watt hps. 3 gallon pot pro mix and casting mix. fox farm nutes.. ph is 6.5

the second picture only the 2 on the far right and the 2 on the far left are the purple wrecks... not the ones behind them..

im looking for weight!

no way, let her go and trim the lower branches then you will get some serious weight

im a noob, please give me some detailed advice in regards to trimming to gaining more weight!!! i would greatly appreciate it

i would think you may run into root rott issues...seems like a long veg for 3 gallon pots...but if yout can do it more power to ya...and I would say go for the topping, i usually top a dece amount after i start flowering to hold the stretching down

personally I would leave it as is. Topping will slow the flowering, basically imo it's too late regardless. But really those plants look decent. I can't help but think you're best move would be to transplant to bigger pots if they have been in those ones very long.

I'll second the question - why trim bottom branches? I can see eliminating any low shoots trying to go off to the side, but large fan leaves? Those are the solar cells for the whole plant. I've never understood the logic of heavy trimming to lower branches.

com'on really? I should repot?? My old caregiver never had a problem flowering and getting 3.5-5 oz off a plant vegged for 2.5-3 months and he was using 3 gallon... What should I switch to??
