Looooool. Right....But If i cut dem leavs offf it do grow moar Budd.
The fan leaves are where the plant gets the engery to even use the nutes. The less leaves on the plant, the less photosynthesis is occurring. That's the SIMPLE fact. Im sure we all remember photosynthesis right? Its what makes the plant grow, in case you forgot. Remember the whole taking in of co2 and exhaling of o2? The leaves do all that. Sure the plant will keep growing without the primary fan leaves, just not as well is it would had they been there.Actually it doesn't stunt, they grow at the same pace everything else will. As long as it is connected to the stem it recieves nutes from the root system...the leaves are a storage system to sustain bud growth at flush, which is still given to the whole plant from the fan leaves and by that time foliage will have come back...just my experience
Looks alright, but the point remains that had you not cut those leaves up the growth would be better. It's simple science, basic really... Only trim leaves that don't get direct light. Cutting leaves that get full light is a hanous act.
how did you do that??? did you de-foliate whilst budding??? i am still about 3 weeks from finish
sorry about that all ways get the odd pick taking the piss and don't what there on about, thanks i've moved them around so the tallest are on the outside and the shortest are directly unders the lights (there are 2 600watters) is that what you meant??
I was about to chop the plant when I took the pic so I had removed a lot of the fan leaveshow did you do that??? did you de-foliate whilst budding??? i am still about 3 weeks from finish
yeh 3 times in veg, 1ltr,5ltr,30ltr last time a week or two before flowerNice plant, recovered well from your butchering.
You replanted it 3 times? 3 different pots...?
Yes but photosynthesis requires light to hit the leaves in order to do this process right? Like i said, its controversal and all depends on how you do it..i defoliate 2-3 times in flower usually. The fan leaves are where the plant gets the engery to even use the nutes.
