You obviously do not grow with organics or you are new to growing..Just me, but I would not use any soil that has white fuzzy stuff growing on it.
I snapped my pic a day after top dressing, and had mycelium forming the next day.My webs on my soil beds are gnarly, if he is scared to grow in white fuzz then he would want to steer clear of my beds.. They are flourishing with life..
The cover of the container has been closed this whole time. Should I keep the cover off or keep it on? Should I mix it around before using it for my top dress next week?Maybe let it sit a bit longer and generate more microbes..
Leave it covered and do not mix it.. Let it create its own life without being disturbed..The cover of the container has been closed this whole time. Should I keep the cover off or keep it on? Should I mix it around before using it for my top dress next week?
How would i know when its ready for me to use as a top dress? I was thinking of chopping and dropping some of my cover crop then throwing this on top of it to feed the soil. wouldn’t i disturb it once i use it as a top dress?Leave it covered and do not mix it.. Let it create its own life without being disturbed..
Do you keep the lid closed 24/7? or do you open it once in a while to get fresh air in there? also do you use it to top dress also?I have a tote of soil I use just for worms. It gets crazy mycelium also....

With worm bins you need holes for oxygen.. I have holes I drilled on the top lid.. The lid stays closed unless Im feeding them, and I have paper overtop of the soil to protect it from drying out..Do you keep the lid closed 24/7? or do you open it once in a while to get fresh air in there? also do you use it to top dress also?
