2 things, I had under the screen pretty much cleaned up but it's looking ruff under there now, donno if it's because of the lights under canvas for my cuttings....maybe. Should I trim under canvas again, read you should only trim once. The next thing, when I transplanted to big pots soil was about an inch from the top, now it's compacted I guess, to 3-4 inches from the top and some roots are showing, should I add soil ?

Add some soil. Next time when you re pot push the soil down but dont compress hard.

Those lights under the canopy are generating too much heat. Put a fan in and yes definitely clean up the lower branches more! Whatever isn't receiving adequate light will produce larthy buds which is undesirable

Roots being exposed isnt an issue either. i like to expose some roots because it gets the plant more oxygen.

Soma actually pulls his plants from the soil a couple inches and exposes the bigger roots to get more oxygen but i don't do this or recommend it. I plant my previous pots a little higher than the soil level so the soil around the large roots washes away with watering exposing the roots

im not saying hes wrong but its not a "bad" thing
all that could be "bad" about it would be the possibility of cutting the root carelessly or if its roots are not deep it can topple over and not support itself

the benefit is more oxygen attained through the roots. equaling larger yields. That's why hydro grows HUGE plants because its direct oxygenated water and nutrients

with your root exposure i would leave it. personally if it were my own
