i bought it at petco for $7 i think for 3 bricks. have any of you used it before? did it work good by itself or did you have to add chunks of coco or perlite?

A medium for what kind of grow is what I meant to say.. hydro? If so then yeah I would mix it with other stuff too, or not even use it because its not really marketed for horticultural use.

for skunk haze and ufo#1 from attitude. i just ordered botanicare pro grow, bloom, karma, cal-mag, sweet, and clearex. i wanted to try soiless grow and thought it might work bu itself or mixed. it does say its eco friendly and can be safely composted or recycled on it.

dude, If I were you I would try to get pro mix. best soiless mix, its all small wood fibers, mosses, pearlite and Mycenae.
