how much have you cut off that thing! remember old leafs make good amounts of sugar for the plant as well bud only cut off fan leafs if thay are not getting any light on them! this way you will get great results.

haha. i grew a few plants like that... but mine were better looking... only grew the main cola and its gonna yeild like 16grams when done drying... and it was even shorter than those.....those look like a lawnmower hit um.... sorry man

i grew that under 30 40 watt 2700k
i yeilded 1.2 grams and only had to flower for 15 weeks,....

How long do you guys typically flower for? I know it's different for every strain but I was just curious. It took 7.5 weeks for SeeMoreBuds grow in the book and ragincajun is at 11 weeks. I have been following his book pretty closely for the most part. Does anyone know if he harvested early?
Right now, I am on week 5 and my girls don't look like the yield would be that great at 7.5 weeks for me at least. Will a longer flowering period equal more bigger buds? Also another silly question, how do guys check the trichomes? I bought one of those 100x pocket microscopes from radio shack but it doesn't work well if I use it directly on the plant. If there is a non moving object underneath it works pretty well. Is it safe to cut off part of a leat to check trichomes?
