if you can't grow properly with CFLs, you can't grow with HIDs...
HIDs offer more lumens... but HIDs do not make somebody a better farmer or more in tune with their plants... it is actually harder to have a successful HID grow than a successful CFL grow...
that being said.. ripping on CFLs only proves ones inability to grow properly with HIDs

heres my pure cfl grow, also my 1st ever attempt to grow anything
used mainly 250w of cfl across 4 ladys now added another 125w red and 250w blue so total for last few weeks of flower is 625watts in a bid to fatten these fuckers up properly.

Looking oh so good! I hope mine look somewhat close to that in 10 days, though you have 2x the lighting heh.
What are you thinkin, 20+ more days? They should fatten up more. Exciting

this was my first grow, wid TWO twenty three watt spiral cfls, 2700k and 5500k, only flowered for bout seven or eight weeks...didnt get shit out of em tho, bout twenty grams off two plants. it was sum good tho...round two is gonna be killin shit, i kinda like CFLs

I don't get how people define themselves so deeply by what lighting choice they make, to the extend they feel insulted someone would choose something differnt. Although, online you can replace lighting choice by just about anything, favorite messenger, OS choice, car.. ect. I think that's just the way people turn out when they feel as if they got the short end of the stick in life.

yup thats what im thinkin another 20 odd days and they should fatten up so mych by then, i mean after only 30 odd days they went from 4 weeked vegd fairly small sized plants to thiose above
any ideas on my yeild, 4 plants

im trying to help people who are wasting money by using 625 watts to grow buds that a 150 hps could do, thats almost 500 more wats...12 hours a day, thats 6kilowatt hours a day,,, you do the mathThe title of the thread is Show Off Your Buds... fa sho mayne, it was some bag seed that came out three million times better than the bag i pulled it out of... got that shit going with sum white widow and sum sweet n sour diesel(sweet tooth x NYC diesel)... finna step the lighting up times three, might as well, the damn things are cheap enough... and im experimenting with ultrasonic foggers right now. hopefully i'll have more buds in the next round of pics.
