Thanks for the info, I did run across a company that stated their light were superior because of the 60 degree angel and it makes sense.
I would like to
at least yield about 0.5grams/watt. I get more like 0.8grams/watt with HID's when I do a strain I'm familiar with.
So I would like to be able to get LED lighting equivalent to (5) 10000 watt HPS light, and at least 2500 grams.
Many company's sell lights which are marketed to be the equivalent of a 1000watt HID but because LED companies use PAR and HID's use lumens I cant make a real number comparison.
I just wish that I could find out the PAR output of HID's. The only HID bulb that I have found which gives its PAR output is this one,
http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=HLRBHPS10LTK&eq=&Tp=
because other manufactures of HID bulbs don't list PAR I cant be sure this is any more than most HID bulbs.
At 1798 its is more PAR light than any LED unit I have found. The closet I've found is a 500watt LED unit that put out about 1500 micromoles,
Of course the LED unit has some other advantages.
Is there anyone out there who has filled their LED light footprint and knows how many grams they yielded. Without filling the footprint you never know what it could have yielded.
have you guy seen this site? seems like good info.
