Showing Pre-Flowers - Question

I'm a first-time grower. I'm wondering when I can expect my plants to show pre-flowers.

I have 3 Northern Lights and 1 AK-48 (all from seed) in week 4-5 of veg. They are 11-inches tall, growing in FFOF. I'm using the FoxFarm nutes, and they are under a 400-watt MH bulb in a small closet with reflective walls.

When do you think they will show pre-flowers?

When you switch to 12/12, one week in or so.

They should start sexing any week now, you should be able to tell before you flip em if you look close.

pre-flowers are the plant telling you its ready to flower when its still in veg mode usually about 1.5-2months old. a couple lil balls or the lil white hairs is all you get but a very good way to tell the sex before they flower and with the potential stop them creating seed. no point smoking them.
