How long does it usually take to show sex after switching to 12/12??

They should show preflower during the 4th week of veg according to the book. I find around 6-8 weeks from sprouting. They should not have to go 12/12 to sex them. I do believe they sex earlier under 12/12. How old are they from seed or clone? how long in veg?

It depends on the strain you're growing, your lighting, and the age of the plant. I veg mine for eight weeks, and usually see sex on all plants around five days into flower. It can take longer, however - if the plant isn't sexually mature when it goes into flower, it will continue vegging, until it is.

it will not continue vegging untill ready when you put it on 12/12 it forces it to flower... it can take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks just be patient and watch. if after 2 weeks they dont show sex you most likely have a light leak interupting your 12/12

mine showed in about a week, and the males should show first

Yeah, i agree, 3-14 days or so...

males TEND to show first... although, i had a male show at 13 days, right after my second female showed at 12 days...

you will know when it shows...
