showing signs of flowering. but still on 18/6

i have 3 skunk no1 plants about 7-8 weeks old light has always been on 18/6. was just up looking at them and noticed pistils shooting out all over the place. is this normal? grow the same kind of plant few months ago vegged for 9 weeks then changed to 12/12. 2 days later had pistils. so whats up with these ones? cheers

It is normal for pistils to show, you should be ok if your still 18/6. do you have any pictures, that helps alot.

It's a sign the plant is mature and ready to flower(however that does not mean you have to flower her now, just that she's ready when you are). preflowers and alternating nodes will begin when your plants reached maturity no matter the light cycle.

cheers for the reply, was going to change to 12/12 this week anyway, they r between 14-17 inch tall and very bushy. will try post some pics
