3. High Light - yes, it?s true, you can give our faves too much light. Cannabis does not receive full sun from sunrise to sunset in its natural state. It is shaded or given reduced light levels because of adjacent plant material, cloudy conditions, rain, dust, twilight periods of early morning and late afternoon, and light intensity changes caused by a change in the seasons. Too much light mainly serves to bleach out and destroy chlorophyll as opposed to causing leaf cupping, but it often goes hand-in-hand with high heat for indoor growers. Again, back off on the light and concentrate on developing/maintaining an efficient and robust root system.

Hi Simon.....ahhheemm.....cowell. Thanks for the +rep. Your point is extremely valid and to tell you the truth I missed that tiny "4 inches away" detail, haha. Which is why I came off harsh. +rep for you for being dead on with info and making sure I stayed in line.:weed:

Simon eh? hmm.. do I know you?

Ty, but, I'm not trying to keep anyone "in line" lol.. just trying to help :joint:

and I rep+'ed you because I read "4 inches away" and immediately thought.."too close"... didn't think until after I read your post to consider other things too.. and it is very valid to point out tht pics should be mandatory for people asking for help on plants.:peace:

Sometimes when the bulbs start going out, 'specially HID's, they tend to lose their spectrum and only give off heat. Since you said your shade leaves are looking more healthy I would say it's how close your light is but you may wanna check the age on the bulb.
Are you running any other lights along with it? it could explain why some of the plant remains in good dolor and only the areas exposed are dying.
