skh: i take everything i read and hear as bs until i test and confirm it. i am a mod in the chatroom and i think this site is the best one, but like anything you have to take everything in and relate it to your situation, regardless of skill, no one on some website knows whats up in your room and you can never describe your process well enough to give a complete understanding.

pandan: i wish i could do an autopsy but i doubt my old microscope is good enough or i have a blade sharp enoug hto split hair. would be fun though :P the truth is the process probably isn't that complicated its just not well documented like most other plants have the benefit of.

i'm gonna see what i can dig up on pistils and maybe harrass my friend ucsf and find out if theres anything he can tell me

skinitti666 why are you here? Like right here of all places. This thread isn't about PPM and EC. On top of that, why ask someone and wait for a reply when there are thousands of websites you could access by just googling the question. Here let me demonstrate i'll type "what is ec" in to google and then right up the top the third result is THIS . Go to that link and watch the video or just do a search for yourself. Basic stuff like that which applies to every plant is easily found on gardening websites etc.

the only way is to learn about other plants. there is not enough study on cannabis to understand plant processes properly. A lot of tests are done on seaweeds and lower classes of plants, this knowledge is then applied to other plants. just like i do with cannabis.

You won't learn anything just hanging around here. you can still post here obviously, but for learning purposes you need to read from other sources. do you have a basic understanding already? for example you understand the calvin cycle, photosynthesis.. basic understanding on plant hormones etc?

its not worth getting into a argument with skunky.i think hes the same person who used to be a mod on here a some years ago and he started banning anyone who disagreed with him.ppl then started to complain and he had to leave the site.hes obviously been allowed back.thankfully he's no longer a mod.

i don't even know who you are... you also obviously have a poor memory as i never needed to ban anybody. I also never had to leave, but left of my own accord after a disagreement with the owner. You have no idea what you're talking about.

you banned me for agreeing with someone you was having a argument with about seeds.thats all i did.i didnt disrespect you in anyway,i just agreed with someone else.you also banned him too.and i remember plenty of ppl complaining about you.
you had this tendancy to argue with ppl who didnt agree with you.lots of ppl were banned when you were a mod.ppl started leaving the site because of it.

actually it was probably only trolls like yourself that i'd ban. ruining this guys thread with distractions from the point. LDB is clearly wrong... you cannot back him up so resort to making a troll post instead. I still wouldn't ban you though, i'd just tell you like it is till you broke down and started swearing or throwing childish insults... then i'd ban you.

skunkykushybrid: i went to school for math and physics, and have taken extensive biology and chemistry courses, i'm way past the kreb cycle and photosynthesis, i can draw you the electron transport chain easily and describe any part/phase of the photosystem I and II complex. was just hoping someone knew a little more technical info here, i'm sure there are some real botanists sprinkled among the members here, hopefully one of them stumbles across this.

there are some pretty knowledgeable people here and finding people that have specialised knowledge in sciences that like cannabis seems to be harder than finding the people that like cannabis that have specialised science knowledge.

saying you can learn nothing here isn't true, you can learn a lot you just have to take everything and see if it applies to your specific experience.

i'd prefer no one arguing here anymore, if you have something useful, say it, if not quit wasting my thread space.

well if you are that advanced you have the resources to do your own study and shouldn't need to ask at a forum like this. you need to go to a proper plant biology forum, like I said earlier. even then i doubt your question will get answered as it is just too technical. Look into senescence, as this is what pertains tot he study of cell death in plants. a certain hormone that i can't think of the name of right now, too early... ah fuck it, it's gone... anyway you'll get there in 5 minutes study i imagine. I got shit to do.
