Yeah that could be a problem I know some in organ. Do you think I could send it there and have them send it to Cali?

Well then theyd take the fall if it gets intercepted by customs (They might only confiscate it and send you a letter telling you they confiscated it).. You would have to meet them across the border and bring them back if you were going to get them.

^ This is the best option. you dont want to get your friends into something like a Federal Crime...... if you order it to there house its Legal, if you go there and pick it up its Legal, if you bring it back to Cali it breaks Cali's state laws..... not that bad if you get caught. they take your spores and tell you not to do it again.....

if your friends mail it to you and you get caught, they will be charged with smuggling and mail fraud, 2 very serious Federal crimes.

Yeah it all sounds pretty complicated, but man I can just see my first mush grow. do you think it would be possible to go pick fresh mushies and take out spores?

Customs? there is no customs from state to state. If it is legal in the state from were they are being sent, I don't believe you can be prosecuted for sending them to a state where it is illegal, why should your state extradite you to california?

lmfao my jumps to conclusions. no one said anything about extradition and customs

its illigal to bring spores from Oregon (where they are legal) to Cali (where they are illegal).

if his friends use the mail (a federal system...) to break the law, then they ALSO Break federal Law. which is why spore shops in the USA will NOT ship to California, using the mail to break the law also breaks federal laws......

Yes I said customs haha. But you get my point.
If you could find a specific strain in the wild that is fully mature (cap open) that didn't blow its load yet, you could spore print it. You would still need to buy a pack of syringes and make a spore syringe.
I'm not sure if the mushrooms will grow in cali at this time of year.. I could be wrong though.

I didn't see anything rude there. The best way is to have a friend, you could also attempt to go off shore where they are likely to send to any state without a problem. Or you coud travel to a state that is legal and open up a po box.

Honestly just have them sent to the addy in Oregon and have them send it to you from there if possible, you wont get caught. How would they?

Especially if its a spore print vs syringe. its a small piece of paper, with the print on it you can put that in a thick stack of tri-fold papers like a letter or document, they would never catch it.

If you avoid USPS and use UPS or Fedex no federal risk as they are private carriers but this increases cost significantly

Sound advise that.
I'm so glad I don't live in California and have to deal with their backwards laws. Sometimes I think half the laws are there to generate more criminals out of honest citizens to generate funds for the corporate prisons and law enforcement funding or something movie plot-ish.
If you do decide to proxy mail a syringe you could label it something like "canal 03 sample 14" or something. They would have to waste time and money taking it to a lab to look under a microscope just to find out if this is a water sample or mushroom spores. A print in a standard envelope is highly unlikely to be stopped and even easier to hide in something.

Hey Corbat420 have you experience with those two vendors? I've been thinking of giving mushroom cultivation a try but shroomery.com made me suspicious of their paid sponsors; it all seems like a big astroturfing campaign after reading enough posts and spotting the patterns and flags so I only trust shroomery knowledge and not the reviews and whatnot. I don't know anybody personally that I could buy a print from and I know I've seen psilocybin cubensis or something looking exactly like the golden teacher variant around here but the field has since been built upon and I would rather not mushroom hunt the exposed cow fields. The Sheriff department is quite aggressive out here and does frequent patrols and personal searches of the everglades buffer areas for who knows what. (probably despicable flower growers and mushroom eaters like us)

I have experienced SporeWorks and Micro-Supply and they've both been good. Micro-Supply is cheaper, but the SporeWorks needles are more concentrated.

The concentration shouldn't make much difference. What you are after is spores that are intact within the syringe. Often times you will see whispy elements in the water, for some reason, the spores in there have germinated and now have a limited lifetime. There are millions if not billions of spores in each syringe even if you can't see anything in there at all.
