Bluing is caused by oxidation of phenolic compounds. Many mushrooms have them, including poisonous ones. Most cubes have them, but that's just the starting point of the ID process. One mistake and you could die........if you have to ask a question like this, it's obvious you DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!
The test for
Psilocybin
is blueing when bruised. If it doesn't blue, don't eat it.
I agree. Find a different situation. To OP: Shitting blood isn't the best of signs generally, and if you have a life situation where is is a critical test of living or dying, I suggest you find a different situation.
Overdose its in the range of 2000 times the active dose. Which would probably be around 4000 grams dried depending on potency. That is the low endNow THERE is a test for mushrooms - kinda like testing for witches, bind them and throw them into a river, if they sink, and drown the the subject was not a witch.
Mushrooms, especialy the ones you grow are proably not poisonous. that being said, these things won't kill you no matter how much you may eat. You might feel like you WANT to die but that is not a real part of the equation.
The LD50 in humans is likely to be much less than in mice or rats, look at how much lower it is in rabbits. The value in man is probably much closer to that. Although 12.5mg/kg is still a lot of fucking psilocin.
