Ok as of now I have the grow room, air fans, exh fans, veg lights, but no hydro system yet nor the flowering light, I plan on 150W HPS and a 4 ft commerical 2 bulb flouro. I have practiced germing some shawg 50% .....1 and 1......but spouted nice is in top soil,,,,,,PRACTICE"""" WELL IM BROKE AND HAVE TO WAIT TILL CASH COMES IN SOON.....HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!:peace::joint::joint::joint:

oK SO I HAVE A SCROG IN MIND,,,, 6 PLANTS 1 WW 1 WR 4 BIG BANG ,,,,ALL INDICAS,,,,,SHORT AND BUSY,,,SHOULD WORK OUT FINE. IM LOOKING AT THE DEALS ON EBAY. 6 POT 10 GAL. RES,, DRIP SYSTM,,,WITH A 150W HPS LT.... OR A 250W OR 400W .....THEY HAVE BEEN GOING CHEAP ON EBAY, SYSTEMS IS ABOUT 55...150 ON A LIGHT,,,,,,,I'LL SEE WHAT COMES NEXT.200 SHOULD COVER IT.

Sweet,,,I got my check I was waiting for so now I can buy the rest of what I need to get going. I still need the light, hydro system, nutes, and a few other little tweeks on my grow room design. Its all in a mock up stage right now, just waiting for the light to come so I can finish the rest of the electrical, and a bit more ventilation work. I'll take some pics soon,,,got to read up on that......Peace..I'm out......

So I ordered a 400w Hps light for flowering and a 6 site top feed system (drip) . I cant wait to get started,,,I'll snap a pic when I get them both and of the grow room when its all set up and as work out any kinks.

Ya I seen people have good results with these strains ,,,,,I think I will do 2 ww , 2 white rinos, 2 BB,,,Well see how it goes,,,Thanks for the reply pimp..

The day has finally come,,,the light is in and so is my hydroponic drip system,,,I finished the mock up and everything is good so far. I have a plant growing in soil that started for practice ( Shawg) But I will run a 2 ft floro for now as I vegg...I will check the temp and RH tommorow,,,then I will run the 400w hps and recheck the temp and rh in the growroom...I want to make sure I'm removing heat and work out the bugs now.But on the other hand I started to germ 2 WW,2 BB,2 WR. I still need some little work but I finally started.

So I was good with the 2ft floro, the temp stayed about 75 F ,,,which happen to be room temp,,,,RH was 50%,,,,,When I lit up the 400w HPS the temp was at 86F and the RH droped to 30%,,,,I watered the plant and kept a glass of water in the room to see if it helps,,,,,I'll check on it later.On the other hand I started germing my beans yesterday and all looks well , some are beggining to crack. I will be picking up some nutes and ph adjuster soon,,,,But for now I have to worry about cooling of the room with the 400 lit.I'll take some pics .

Get a carbon filter in there, I use one because I had heat troubles with my 400watt hps. Works great for my growroom, keeps it always around 75*F. :peace:

So yesterday I got it started and today I put the BB in the system. The WW WR are both a bit behind the BB but we'll see what happens, I put back my floro to start vegging since it does not build up much heat, but still have to work out the issue with the 400w hps I have.I might put all the beans I have in paper towels tommorrow and let them do there thing thier. KEEP IT REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iTS A 3IN I THINK I WILL GET A TEE FOR IT AND JUST AND ANOTHER EX.VENT ABOUT 70 CFM'S, TOTAL OF 140 CFM'S.

I am just trying to be helpful here and offer a few simple suggestions for newbies. If you read this, you will be glad.

ONE-
If I can impress one fact upon you, I read here every day where a new grower says "well, I tried ____________and I killed my plants."
"I wondered what would happen if I ________________and I killed my plants"
or "I thought I would try _______________and it killed my underwater pump".
I tried adding sugar and I got ants. I tried adding mollasses and it screwed up my pump. I tried urine.......................I tried dog poop................
IF you DO NOT know what will happen, then DON'T TRY IT..........NOT with your first grow.
EXPERIMENTATION IS GREAT, THAT IS HOW WE LEARN, BUT WOULDN'T YOU RATHER LEARN FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S MISTAKES?
You do not want your first grow to be an experiment, you want it to be a successful grow and harvest.
Are you trying to be a inventor, an inovator, or trying to harvest some weed to smoke?
Growing can really be simple, but we tend to want to experiment and we tend to want to always fool with the plants, to mess with them, to try something different, to do some more, and some more, and some more.. THAT IS WRONG THINKING. STINKING THINKING, I CALL IT.
DO THE RIGHT THING AND THEN LEAVE THEM ALONE! LEARN, RESEARCH, STUDY, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, BUY A BOOK OR TOO.
I see people post "I tried urine, I tried mollasses, I tried dog doo-doo, I tried miracle grow, I added so and so, I made up some grow nutrients, I mixed in blah bla blah. DON'T DO IT !!!!
If it will work right, then you can read here where someone else did it successfully.
TWO-
It is better to do too little than to do too much. It is better to not do enough, than to over - do it. It is better to do less, than to do more.
Think of toothpaste. After you squeeze it out, it's a done deal, and you have to deal with what you have, you can not put it back in the tube. BUT, IF you do not squeeze enough out, you can always squeze some more out later.
Just like spoken words, once said, they are out there.
THREE-
Many new members here will offer advise here, that have never grew a plant in their entire lives. "Build your own Hydroponic System" and "Try some Miracle Grow" and "go get some Halogen Lights" and a lot of bull crap advise. I see successful Soil Growers offering advise on Hydroponics. I see Hydroponic Growers offering advise on how to grow outdoors. When you read advise, look to see if that person is new here or been here awhile, if he or she has ever grown before, and if he has more than a few posts, posted, or is new here. Beware of advise starting with "I heard that........." OR "MY BUDDY TOLD ME ......................"

If you are going to grow..............

INTERNET PURCHASES ARE SAFER THAN WALKING INTO A HYDROPONIC STORE.
LOWES AND WALMART AND HOME DEPOT ARE MORE SAFER.
Every time I read on here that someone got busted, it was a wife, x-wife, girlfriend, x-girlfriend, nosey neighbor, or mad partner or mad upset buddy.

THE PLANTS ARE GOING TO SMELL VERY LOUD AND AWEFUL.
DECIDE ON INSIDE OR OUTSIDE.
DECIDE ON SOIL OR HYDRO.
DECIDE ON SEED OR CLONES.
DECIDE ON WHAT KIND OF LIGHTS.
ARE YOU GOING TO VENT THE HEAT?
FIVE-
IF you decide on an INDOOR GROW, then BEFORE you do anything else,
Spray the area good with a good ALL PURPOSE bug spray, like HomeGuard. Don't just use a spray made to kill ants or only roaches. Everyday someone posts here that spider mites ruined their crop.



Figure out how you going to deal with
  • the heat or temperature.
  • the smell.
  • the spider mites.
  • the humidity.
  • the neighbors, parents, girlfriend, neighbor and deadbeat friends.
  • source for good water.
  • air movement or air circulation.
SIX- DON'T TELL ANYONE.

Roseman Thanks for the post but I dont think that was related to but the dumbass post on here,,,,,Plus thats not the first time you use that post. Maybe it will keep away those posers from posting and open the door for real sound advice from those who know best,,,Todays update is one WW and White Rino and 2 BB have sprouted and are doing fine,,I have one WW and one White Rino that have not germed yet,,,I put those back to soak in water to see if it helps,,,If not I try other beans.

Here are pics of the seedings, the first are the two big bangs, they germed the fastest. The 2nd is of the White Rino,,,she grew long fast,,,and the last is of the WW with the others in the background. I have room for 2 more ,,,, Iwill see what i have left .:peace::peace::joint::joint:
