Well I'm charging up the camera battery and I will start documenting the journal again soon. I've got some new strains that I really like and I'm retiring some of the older ones. I have lots of genetics I've been collecting but haven't tried yet, so I need to keep looking for those strains of a lifetime lol.

Thats a crazy line up youve got. I wouldnt be able to grow more than one strain, shit, im not even likin growin multi phenos of the same strain. I love my simple genetically identical gardens hahaha.

I'm with ya bud, I too like the simplicity of one line of genetics. Growing mostly organically makes it a bit easier with the feeding though. Mostly just water! Also, being perpetual the different finish times don't bother me, there's usually one or two coming down every week. It def keeps it interesting with a constant rotation of different flowering plants. Thanks for joining!

lol, I know FM! The Cougar is shaping up nicely in veg. She just found her flower pot a few days ago and got cropped all to hell. I promise I will get a pic of her this weekend, she should be recovering nicely!

Do you know if the Cougar Kush shares genetics with Skunky Monkey? They both grow low and slow and have some stems that are absolutely built for aggressive super cropping.

No ties between the two! Completely two different strains. The cougar is way better imo.

Well I had to pull them out of the box for a couple weeks into a temporary home while I bombed the shit out of my space for mites. I also decided to try mighty wash on veggers, despite the fact that I have no idea wtf that shit is made of lol. Mites appear to have been exterminated.

The bad news was Lizzy. They both ate better than ever in their temporary smaller space..... But before I put them back into their home, I failed to mop the with bleach water after a bomb, something I usually do right away. She got out of the box and fell onto the floor. I think her cause of death was excessive Pyrethrum exposure

She was never as strong as Izzy, being the lady she never ate well, she lost her tail early and she never really grew. She was just a petite lil lady! I'm sure Gary will love her!

Mighty wash is basically water tuned to a certain frequency, when it contacts the mites it melts them or something lol. So its not meant as a prevention spray really because it has to make contact with its victims.
I recently (months ago) made a chili pepper concoction that killed them on contact, thrips as well. Best part is I could drink it and not die lol and I can make it at home for pennies! It also stores really well, I'll pull up the recipe if youd like... I had mites and thrips going into flower I was devastated, but it worked AMAZING for me... Im now smiling like the guy in my avatar.

Then again Iv been told its a million dollar idea lol I'll share it for 1$

I've read that in your thread man, I'm interested! How does 2 TBS per gallon of ground cayenne pepper sound?

That mighty wash worked great, but I hate using shit I don't know about on my plants.

Only one way to find out! I think the simmering process has allot to do with releasing the goodies, so that step you may not want to skip,, you could make a concentrate then dilute. Also, dont forget the dish soap as the wetting agent.

Woopin some up this evening, I reckon! That mighty wash works very well I might add. I used the smaller bombs which according to Doktor Doom were adequate for my space. Towards the end of the battle I bought two of the huge ones and then switched from Azamax to Mighty Wash. Problem solved. Been doing some VERY heavy pruning to make sure any survivors on the lower canopy are shipped out.

So far so good, my garden hasn't looked this good in a LONG time! I'm still using my soil mix for flower, then adding a mixture of peat and tomato tone on the top half. They seem to really like it and the roots are spreading fast and fierce immediately after transplant. I love me some Pro-Mix BX!

Pepper spray will be great to use in the pre-flower veg box. Just to make sure nothing gets into those flowering tents.

I heard a lot of good things about Mighty Wash, I use Neem and SNS209 for my plants. Have you ever tried to blast peppers with butane? Makes a nice potent concentrate of peppers, then mix a little with water for spraying. Kind of like making BHO except you use Hot Peppers or Chiles.

Cant wait to see the plants flower, when do you plan of flowering?

I'm using SNS209 for a systemic deterrent right now too. Pretty much anything I can do to make sure they're gone (until next time). I'm going to continue to use that stuff to keep them away for sure! But its time to take the gloves off when I spot them again.

8 Gallons of water + 1TBS of Jack's Classic or Bloom + 60 ml of SNS209 = 6.3ph with my watert. Gotta love that! Not sure how long I will keep that up thought because SNS209 is kinda pricey over the long haul. Then again its hard to put a price on having a mite free garden lol.

I just mixed a few drops of dish soap with 1 heaping TBS of cayenne pepper. Will start using that in the next day or two to stay on top of it, maybe alternate with neem in between fills. My vegging plants just seem to love neem alot. Now that the temps are down I think that's half of the battle with mites.
