Thank God I clipped clones of both strains because they're both good strains and easy to grow. Sucks that this happened but ya gotta start somewhere. There super healthy other than the pistols. Thank you so much for your information and making me aware that they're starving. Tiger Bloom will be here Wednesday. I'll post updates!

I didn't even notice you said it was at 5 weeks flowering you should be further along in bud development so you are going to have a small yield this go. Have a look through the newbie central threads sometime you can learn a lot there. As for how often to feed you should pick up the pot and feel its weight full and dry and only water when you feel its near the dry weight.
I'll also browse the newbie central threads. I'd like to start scrogging once I can master feeding them the correct amount. I feel like such an ass. Should I feed them every time I water them?

I do every other watering with nutes but some people do it less or more it depends on your plants and if they like a heavy feed. A friend grows his with only one heavy feed every 2 weeks but hes outdoors in the ground. its all about watching your plants and dialing in the right amounts and times to feed for that specific phenotype. if your afraid of overfeeding get a soil with lots of coco or pearlite so it drains well, i recommend foxfarms ocean forest it can grow you some dank without much effort. I'd go a step further with a cloth pot (can make your own) so your soil is nice and aerated and you can water pretty much every day. Dont feel bad everyone had to learn at sometime. My first 2 grows ended up in the trash first to PM then to root fungus but i learned my leasons and haven't had those issues again.

We have ours in smart pots which are cloth. The plants love them. We were using the foxfarm ocean forest and recently switched to a local and organic soil which was cheaper and has the same nutrients as the ocean forest. I will see how they respond to the tiger bloom, which I'm sure is going to save their little lives, but if for some reason they Still aren't quite right, I'll switch back to ocean forest for the vegging plants once they go into flower which will be within the next few weeks. My vegging babes are doing awesome.

Our last cycle had an infestation of spider mites. That was a b*tch to deal with. Didn't discover Neem oil until this round and was afraid to treat them with anything else because they were budding. When I feed them the first time do u suggest I do a heavy feed or should i do a lighter feed because they are malnourished? Just wanna make sure they can handle it and not go into shock or just fall over and turn to dust lol. Just joshin'.

That's great local soils are awesome in some places. I've done a mix of homemade compost bat guano pearlite coco and peet with a compost tea blend of earth worm casing and beneficial bacteria it grew as good as the ocean forest but was tons of work. Yeah you should ease it into the nutes do you have a ppm tester? if so start with 300-600ppm of nutes and go up to about 900-1200 over the next 2 weeks if at any point your leaves start to droop curl or burn at the tips flush for a feeding and dial the nutes back a bit that's probably close to where you want to be on the feeding. Good luck turning them around. P.S. keep an eye on ph of the nute water too if at all possible you dont want a lockout

I don't have a PPM tester unfortunately but I'll split the feeding and just add a little more each feeding until we're up to the suggested amount, given they respond well. Thanks so much for your help with this issue. I'll be keeping a grow journal. Feel free to add me so you can enlighten me when something doesn't look right!! :)
