Hi, I'm not testing runoff I'm testing the soil itself with a soil PH test kit from a garden nursery. I don't have a digital ph meter I am afraid. I just gave 1L of pH4 water each (apple cider vinegar) so hopefully I'll get some change.

Well thats your problem. those soil ph testers aren't worth crap. Your problem is pH. And you can't test water pH with those things. What kind of soil are you using? is it amended with lime?

It's Plant Magic soil, it's the highest quality stuff. I'm not too sure if it is amended with lime or not, I'm sure if it needed to be it would be (im using their nutes too). Maybe I've just overfed or salt buildup from pots draining to tray has created high PH?
