So these side light led strips are 120 lumens per watt making 40w just 83ppfd all together. So even if it was all in one square? This is incredibly ineffecient, if that is correct.
Are there better options that can be close to plants? I read 5050 smds are an example of ahat can be close to plants.
I am running a tall space bucket pretty much and would rather line the lower canopy with just 15w strip lights and a ufo led overhead.
That gives me 11” canopy but if I could light the sides instead, I could have 23” which would be much better. The side lighting on the big plant is continuing nicely, tanning, resinous and fattening. Might pluck on now to dry and smoke in a couple weeks.
