Does the wife or fiance know about your grow?

With the first rule of fight club, how do people do it?
I love mine, but she wouldn't dig it. Luckily, I get to watch a friend do it at his place.
How do you guys grow with the wifey? Ever worried that she'll open her mouth to a friend etc? Would love to hear some feedback on this topic.
