I don't have any left. I wound up feeding the inside girls a lot of it and then started giving it to the outside girls until it was all gone, except for the bone meal banana peel mixture that I put in the fridge. I'm not sure what to do with that, unless I need to make some more black tea.Sorry for the late reply Silky, been flat out with work!
Don't stress about the sticky buds, just keep the lid off the jar until they are touch dry, then take the lid off for an hour a day until smokable but still a little sticky to chop, then burp every 2-3 days for a few weeks...done
Are your outdoor girls still vegging? If you are, the castings and blood meal will do fine for now, just water with your tea once a week with water daily in between. If they start to look hungry during the week, just give them another dose. When making teas try to make only what you will use that day as all the beneficial microbes die off after the air pump gets turned off. Keep it simple mate and you'll be sweet
I moved the one plant that's in the pot (remember, the other one is in the ground and strangely, it's still really short, like 1/3 as tall as the one in the planter-- strange) into a much larger pot, probably 30 gal, maybe, not sure, and moved it to another area of the yard (or vice versa - moved the supplies first then replanted) where it gets complete dark or the darkest piece of land on the property. Everything else is lit up at night. The bad thing about where I had to plant it to get "some" darkness is it's in a culvert on the side of the property where excess rain water runs to keep the yard from flooding as we are at sea level. I can't seem to get the plant leveled so it leans one way or the other. Luckily, there are vines on the fence that I can pull off enough to wrap around the top third of the plant to keep it somewhat straight. I hope it will grow, albiet crooked. Also, I didn't plant it deep enough in the new soil so the root ball is somewhat higher than the rest of the soil. Guess it's time to go to the hydro store and get some Happy Frog. I've never used it but I hear all the raves.
Decisions, decisions. She's growing really nicely tho; lots of branches, small but strong, and about 5 feet tall. I had to top her at one point when I was trying to use the tomotoe cage to keep the branches up. Seems that since she had a poor start, the beginning branches are thin but now have thick greenery on the ends. Is there a way to retro my screw up? When I started adding the vitamins to her she burst out with lots of new, thick growth on the ends of the thin branches. Also, the reason I topped her was that I was trying to cover her at night with a black out sheet, but her head was too tall. Topping her, I thought, was supposed to keep her from growing taller and start growing more "out" but that didn't happen. She's still growing "up".
I wish I would have paid more attention to her when she was outside but I was not only putting all my efforts into the indoor girls, I really didn't think the natives would let me keep her. Anyway, all it got in the beginning was water with a high ph. Now that I started pHing my water and adding nutes, she's making a strong comeback on a weak beginning. I guess that's my biggest problem. Didn't realize it was a problem til I started typing about it then it hit me that I have a problem. How am I going to grow lucious flowers on weak branches? Is there a way to fatten up the branches? I can't remember what the indoor girls did, seems their branches were thick from the beginning.
Sorry so long winded, just catching up.
